30th Sunday in Ordinary Time

Deacon John contrasts James' and John's answer last week to Jesus' question, "What do you want me to do for you" (To sit at the side of God) with the blind Bartimaeus' answer, "To see", and asks the question, Who were the blind ones here?  Why don't we ask Jesus, "Lord, what can I do for you today?"
