About Us

The Catholic Community at Stanford University is a family of students, faculty, staff, administrators, their families, and local community members. With the guidance of the Holy Spirit and through a variety of social, educational, liturgical, and community service programs, we seek to form the Christian conscience, help members appropriate the Catholic faith, educate for justice, facilitate personal development, and form leaders for the future. We support the University's efforts to achieve its goals in keeping with our own traditions and in an environment of religious and cultural diversity. We are a personal parish in the Diocese of San José under the pastoral care of Dominicans and lay leaders.

Catholic Leadership Team 2012-13 Forming Now!

Students, have you considered becoming a member of the Catholic Leadership Team (CLT)? Members are undergrad and grad leaders who represent the CCAS to all students, faculty, staff, and permanent community across campus. CLT members are the hands and feet of Christ. We want all Catholic students to have a fun, faith-filled experience and build friendships that last a lifetime; as a member of the CLT, you will help create an environment and community that fosters such growth and sharing. High School Confirmation for 2013?

We are currently assessing the need for a high school confirmation class next year. If you are interested in having your high school child confirmed, please contact Nancy ASAP.

Saturday, June 16: Graduation Masses and University Baccalaureate

Graduation Masses will be held in Memorial Church. The Spanish Mass is at 1:30PM and the English Mass is at 5:30PM.

The University Baccalaureate will be held at 9:30AM in the Main Quad. This year's speaker is Sr. Joan Chittister. All are welcome to attend.

There will be no Sunday Masses on Sunday, June 17 due to University commencement.

Retreat Weekend in Scottsdale, AZ

Join our own Fr. Nathan Castle May 18-20th at the Franciscan Renewal Center in Scottsdale, Arizona for a spiritual retreat weekend centered on his book And Toto, Too: "The Wizard of Oz" as a Spiritual Adventure. Concert: Bach's Mass in B minor

Andre and Carol, both in our choir, will be performing with the Stanford University Singers on Saturday, May 19th at 8:00PM in Memorial Church. There will be a baroque orchestra and it should be a fabulous concert. For additional details, see this event on the University calendar.
