Pax Christi
This is a gathering of Catholics interested in working for world and local peace. It involves meeting, discussion, prayer and action. If you are interested, contact Ed Ehmke (650) 326-7988 or visit the Pax Christi at Stanford website.

Thanksgiving Service Trip to Las Vegas
During the Thanksgiving break, we offer students an opportunity to come on a service trip to the St. Therese Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. The St. Therese Center is a community resouce center and food pantry for the population infected and the families affected by HIV. (Visit their website for more information at http://sainttheresecenter.org)
Please consider sponsoring a student on the trip to help support our students'
generosity. Full sponsorship for one student is $400, half sponsorship is $200, and
partial sponsorship will allow us to make this trip a reality for our group. Sponsors
will be invited to a luncheon or dinner which will be held in their honor by the
students who participated in the trip. We will bring back pictures, stories, and
memories from the trip to share our experience with you when we return.

the community on the United States-Mexico border.
