CC@S is organizing a Symposium which will be a further reflection on Cardinal Reinhard Marx's recent lecture at Stanford on the Contribution of Christian Values to the Common Good [video of lecture...].

The symposium will begin with a keynote by Bishop Robert McElroy of San Francisco, entitled: "The Christian Contribution to Identifying An International Common Good: Themes From Pope Francis." There will be two panels in the morning, a break for lunch, and then another panel featuring Kevin Hartigan from Catholic Relief Services. The day will conclude with Bishop McElroy and Fr. Xavier concelebrating Mass at 3:00pm in the CIRCLE Sanctuary in Old Union.

The nearest parking to Old Union is in the Tresidder parking lot (L-39) along Mayfield Avenue. We recommend allowing 15 minutes to walk from your car to the event location on the third floor of Old Union. Parking may also be available on the Oval (allow 20 minutes to walk to event location).
