24th Ordinary Time - "To be a Christ to each other"

In today's gospel, Jesus asks to his disciples, "Who do you say that I am?" and Peter replies, "You are the Christ." As Jesus anticipated his destiny putting to death for the sake of us, we, as his disciples, can be a Jesus Christ to each other not only by our faith but also by our deeds, sharing the cross that each of us faces in our life journey.
