Permanent Community

Our permanent community is composed of those non-students who have chosen to make the Catholic Community at Stanford their home.  Welcome!

Permanent Community Wine Tasting

There are several opportunities for spiritual growth available to the permanent community such as Small Groups, a Book Group, a Men's and a Women's prayer group, and various lectures and classes.

If you are interested in Community Service, there are many organizations which would welcome your help such as the Peninsula Interfaith Action Committee (PIA) and Pax Christi, as well as participation in our own Social Justice Ministry.

We hold several events throughout the year as a way to make new friends and build fellowship. In addition to an all-community welcome BBQ in the fall, potluck dinners are held during the year at the homes of various community members. We always welcome community volunteers to help with the barbecue, undergraduate dinners, and planning of social events.

In addition we have started a Pastoral Care Committee to minister to those who ask for our help during an illness. If you are interested in becoming involved, please contact Chaplain Nancy Greenfield (650) 704-0787 and watch the bulletin for upcoming events.
