PASTORAL COUNSELING AND SPIRITUAL DIRECTION
Pastoral Counseling is available to students, faculty, staff, and permanent community members of the Catholic Community. This is not therapy, but an opportunity for individuals to speak openly about issues which impact their integration of faith and life.
Contact: Fr. Patrick LaBelle, Fr. David Geib, Teresa Pleins, or Catherine Wolff

Spiritual direction is a companioning relationship that helps a person discover God acting in his or her life and facilitates the person's free, creative, loving response to God. It presupposes a certain degree of healthy psychological functioning and a commitment to personal prayer. The goal of spiritual direction is an ever-deepening relationship between the individual and God.

SMALL GROUPS. Small Groups are an important part of our Catholic Community at Stanford. They provide an opportunity to explore your faith and to integrate your life experience with the Scriptures and our Catholic tradition as you build supportive relationships with other Catholics. Students, you will find these weekly small group meetings a great support in navigating your way through the Stanford world. Groups are available to undergrads, grads and post-docs, young adults, couples with children, and permanent community members. Sign ups are held quarterly under the direction of the Interns. For more information, registration, leadership training and ongoing support, contact Nancy Greenfield or Catherine Wolff.

Meet: at times and locations determined by the 6-8 members of each group

CATHOLIC GAY AND LESBIAN MINISTRY One of our small groups will be dedicated to bringing together members of our community who share a gay, lesbian, transgender, or bi-sexual orientation. The goal of the group will be to explore the gift of God's love and the service of the Church to all who ask for these in faith.
