Stanford University's Memorial Church (MemChu) is the private property of the University. The University, not the Catholic Community at Stanford, determines who can use MemChu and under what circumstances. The Catholic Community's policy incorporates and broadens the University's policy. To have a child baptized at the Catholic Community at Stanford (CCAS), it is necessary that:
1) At least one parent be a current student, faculty member or staff of the University,
OR
2) At least one parent be registered (by card or online) with the CCAS for at least one year, be regular contributor(s) to the CCAS in a way that is traceable (e.g., by check or by cash in an envelope with name and address) for one year and weekly Mass attendance with the CCAS.
Please note: the University prohibits private baptisms under any circumstances.
