Religion and Science: The Galileo Case

On Monday April 21, as part of our course "Religion and Science in Dialogue," guest lecturer Prof. Paula Findlen will examine the Galileo case and how its interpretation has shaped the common perception of the relationship between theology and science as one of warfare. All members of CC@S may seek permission to attend the lecture as an auditor. Contact course instructor Prof. Paul Crowley (pcrowley@scu.edu). The class meets at 7:00pm in Building 260, room 113.

Prof. Paula Findlen is Director of the Suppes Center for the History and Philosophy of Science and Technology at Stanford University.
